Named to several top hotel lists including Travel + Leisure’s ‘10 Best Hotels in Charleston’ and Conde Nast Traveler’s ‘Gold List,’ Zero George already had a strong reputation for elegant Southern hospitality and upscale accommodations. But the property needed a boost to stay top of mind with national media, as well as increased local awareness to drive business for Zero Restaurant + Bar.

bread & Butter developed compelling new story angles based on goals and wish list outlets, garnering national coverage in Buzzfeed, Travel + Leisure, AFAR, Marie Claire, Elle Décor, and others. Arranging a trip for Chef Vinson Petrillo to lead a test kitchen demo for editors at all Meredith Corp publications in Birmingham, AL, led to coverage in national F&B media such as Food & Wine, Cooking Light, Southern Living and Coastal Living. On a local level, b&B fostered community relations and tapped new audiences through facilitating strategic partnerships with Charleston Wine + Food Festival, GrowFood Carolina, George Gallery and others, in addition to generating feature-placements in local media like Charleston City Paper to drive local business and elevate community perception.
