Chef Kate Williams came to b&B in the summer of 2017 with two tasks: 1) Launch her first restaurant venture, Lady of the House, in the Corktown neighborhood of Detroit; 2.) Take her from “hometown hero” to “female star chef on the rise.”

Drawing from Williams’ traditional Irish and native Detroit background, along with her passion for nose to tail cooking, whole-animal butchery and working with local farms, b&B successfully secured opening coverage in national publications such as Food & Wine, Tasting Table and Eater National.
